Appendix I — A Note by the Rev. Canon H. B. Starling, “On the Association of the Bent Bow with the Sky in Comparative Literature”

A short comparative-literature excursus, bound directly into the Report as its first appendix. Canon Starling surveys bow-and-sky analogues across Hebrew, Babylonian, Vedic, and Greek sources, and flags — without pressing the point — that the stela's bow is bent and strung, unlike the “unstrung” bow of Genesis. He draws no conclusion about the stela itself.
