The Ravensworth Expedition Archive — A Finding Aid
Anglo-Egyptian Survey season of 1908–1909, Ras el-Qaus, Western Desert above the Bend of Qena, Upper Egypt. Seven items catalogued below, in the order in which they were issued or, for the later additions, compiled or added to the archive.
(a) Publication order
Report (/1) → Appendix I (/2) → Photographic Plates (/3), consulting plates against §43 as needed — this reconstructs the 1909 subscriber’s reading sequence.
(b) Plates alongside the text
Read §§30–41 on Tomb R.14 and the stela with the portfolio's plates open beside §43; the captions are drawn verbatim from that section.
(c) The later additions
Items /5, /6, and /7 were added after /1–/4. Read /5 after /1–/2; read /6 alongside /4's private letter; read /7 last, on its own terms.

Appendix I — Canon Starling's Note
A comparative-literature note on the bow-and-sky motif across Hebrew, Babylonian, Vedic, and Greek sources — conclusions explicitly declined.
Photographic Plates I–XII (“Portfolio II”)
Twelve collotype plates of the site, camp, Tomb R.14, and the stela — including Plate X, the bow device, and Plate XI, the lower-register text.
